The Audiophiles is a blog by me, Nick Vidinsky.

I am currently the web producer for Health Dialogues, a monthly magazine-style radio program on public broadcasting flagship station KQED. I recently wrapped up work as the editorial director of an online project called You Decide, KQED’s contribution to a national, multi-platform collaboration on economic coverage (see EconomyStory.org for more on that). I also occasionally produce and direct The California Report morning newscasts on KQED FM. Health Dialogues and The California Report can be heard on KQED FM 88.5 in the San Francisco Bay Area, and on other public radio stations throughout California.

I earned an M.A. in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I also have an M.A. in American Studies from Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Carleton College.
