Nick Vidinsky

The Audiophiles is a blog/portfolio site featuring the work of Nick Vidinsky, a radio and multimedia producer and freelance journalist.

Nick is currently a social media web producer for Health Dialogues, an interactive website and monthly magazine-style radio program on KQED, a flagship station in public broadcasting. Nick is also an on-call producer for other programs at KQED, including morning news and Forum, a daily, live public affairs program. Health Dialogues and Forum can be heard on KQED FM 88.5 in the San Francisco Bay Area, and on public radio stations throughout Northern California. Forum can also be heard on Sirius satellite radio.

Nick also edits interviews for The Story, a nationally distributed public radio program featuring the personal stories behind the news. Nick previously worked as a researcher on the program, and produced many interviews. See the Portfolio page for some examples.

Nick has an M.A. in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also has an M.A. in American Studies from Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Carleton College.
